Originating in Southern California the 1920s, skimboarding was born when Laguna Beach lifeguards wanted to surf the local shorebreak that was too fast and shallow for surfboards. Skimboarding is now more popular than ever and growing from casual skate style moves on shore lined wash to full on shore wave riding.

The Splash 35in Skimboard features edge to edge EVA top grip for maximum grip and comfort. The tough plywood construction will withstand all the abuse you can throw at it, unlike the skin on your knees and your ego after an afternoon of misjudged take offs, nothing that a little salt water and sunshine cant heal though.
